1. when the bottle is almost empty, is it efficient sucking up the last bit? Will I have to jiggle or move the hose to get all the water out?
A: I just tip the bottle to move the last bit of water to the hose side. Gets every bit out.

A: This is a pump. The water it dispenses will be the temperature of the water in the bottle. It does not heat or cool.
